We drove our inspiration from the mythological god of emotions: Sentinus. Sentinus in mythology is the god who awakens and watches over the senses of the newly born. 

As psychologists, we know that emotions are at the core of the human experience. Our driving passion in founding Sentinus is to understand Turkish consumers as real “human beings” with their emotions and thoughts. 

More than 20 years, we've been personally working closely with brands in order to create solid insights and strategies that will help them transform the way they do business. We've been eager to learn, open to new ideas and adaptable to the fast-changing and increasingly complex business environment. 

From our inception in 2019, we as Sentinus are ready to tackle any challenge and help you develop strategies for not only sustaining success, but thriving in the future. 



Where the Passion Begins

She has had her BA in psychology from Bogazici University in 1992 and her MA in Gender Studies from Istanbul University in 1999.

She was trained as a self psychologist by the Anatolian Psychoanalytic Association in collaboration with the Chicago Psychoanalytic Association and as a psycho-drama co-therapist by Istanbul Psychodrama Institute.

She had worked with GfK Turkey team between 2000-2018. 

She is specialized in brand image, concept development, life style research and corporate reputation. She has carried out more than thousand focus groups, in-depth interviews, in-home visits and also run workshops for a wide range of sectors such as FMCG, communication, retail, finance, insurance, IT, cosmetics, media, transportation, jewelry, pharmaceutical , automotive, baby nutrition and tobacco.

Frequently worked clients are Ferrero, PG, Unilever, Nestle, Spinach, Dr. Oetker, Quantum, Pernod Ricard, Mastercard, ING Bank, Akbank, Denizbank, Borusan Otomotiv, Karcher, Vodafone, De Facto, Estee Lauder, PVH, Rönesans Holding, Eczacıbası.

Her book: Freud and Sexism has been published by Agora Publishing Company in 2016.
